Becoming a literary agent was the best career move I ever made. I love working with writers and championing their work from submission to publication and beyond.  There is simply nothing better than getting immersed in their stories–or recipes. (I edited cookbooks for years at America’s Test Kitchen, where I worked with some of the best editors and cooks in the business—and ate a lot of amazing food. Before that, I was an editor at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.) As a literary agent with Aevitas Creative Management, I represent a variety of fiction and nonfiction. A few clients include Kwame Onwuachi, whose memoir NOTES FROM A YOUNG BLACK CHEF has been optioned  by A24; Cambria Brockman, whose debut thriller TELL ME EVERYTHING has been optioned by Netflix, and Mei Li , Irene Li, and Andrew Li whose debut cookbook DOUBLE AWESOME CHINESE FOOD was an NPR pick of the year. I’m thrilled to share that I’m working with all of these clients on their next books, which are under contract, respectively, with Knopf, Ballantine, and Norton.
